About Me

My name is Keith and I've lived in New York my entire life. I started fishing 20 years ago and I've caught pinky-sized guppies here in NY, 150+ pound Mako sharks in tournaments 50 miles off the coast, beautiful rainbow trout in remote rivers, and much more. I've used fly rods, spinning rods, baitcasters and and even a stick with just some line and a lure tied to it to catch sunnies & blue-gills when I was a kid. Fishing has been one of the few constants in my life and if you ask me, it's the single greatest hobby that anyone could have.

Whether you're an experienced angler or it's your first time fishing, the same excitement washes over you when the line tightens and the rod bends. You know that something is on the other end of that line and successfully landing that "something" is entirely in your hands.

As much as I enjoy catching fish, I've come to realize that it gives me even more satisfaction to give others the tools to catch fish of their own. So, that's what I hope to do with this blog. I hope that people find this to be a good resource for getting started or furthering your knowledge of this hobby. So if you have any questions, just drop me a line.

For some inspiration, here's a picture of me and my dad with my first fish...
